Housing Forward Headquarters and Support Center in Maywood experienced a fire early Saturday morning between 2am or 3 am contained to the attic of the building. Fortunately, the building was unoccupied and no one was injured. However, extensive water damage will force us to move our base of operations for the short term to our newly opened Oak Park office at 6634 W. Roosevelt Road until further notice. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept in-kind donations of clothing or household supplies at this time.
