Volunteers Needed for 2019 Point-in-Time Homeless Count on January 30th: Let's make everyone count.

Point-in-Time Home Count 2019

The Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County is the coordinator of a federally mandated homeless count that occurs every other year. During this single night, over one hundred volunteers canvass the streets in groups of three or four and attempt to count every person living outside in suburban Cook.

The Count helps us find every single person experiencing homelessness in suburban Cook so that we can connect them to resources and raise awareness about the issue of homelessness. Results of the count are reported to the federal government in order to secure funds for homelessness programs and create a baseline for continued efforts to end homelessness in suburban Cook County. This is a major undertaking and we need your help!
