On Friday, September 22, Housing Forward held an Open House at our new office at 6634 W. Roosevelt Road in Oak Park. We were grateful to the many that came out to tour our new office space, learn about our Prevail Emergency Assistance Program and Employment Readiness Program, and participate in the unveiling of our Walk-In Center for Entry Point, The new office is also a designated location for Entry Point, one of four designated Walk-In Centers for coordinating, prioritizing and maximizing resources available to individuals and families at-risk or experiencing homelessness across suburban Cook County.
We’d like to thank those that contributed to the rehad of the space: The Heartland Construction Group, Dimensions Management Corp., Nitel, Amanda Miller Design Studio, Laura and Eric Jordahl, Sallie and Mark Smylie, and donors that prefer to remain anonymous. We'd also like to thank Turano Baking Company for the delightful cookies and pastries and Starship Restaurant for donating the delicious sandwiches for our guests.
