The Empty Bowls Community Dinner, benefiting Housing Forward, will take place on Friday, February 26th from 6 pm to 8 pm at OPRF High School.

"Addison Osta Smith endured the ups and downs of reality competition for weeks and now that she's back home in River Forest, she wants to experience those twists and turns some more. With part of her $100,000 "MasterChef Junior" winnings, Addison plans to take her friends to a water park with roller coasters. A portion will go to Housing Forward, a Maywood-based organization that helps the homeless, a cause she said she feels strongly about. The rest of the money is earmarked for Addison to attend culinary school and college."
Hazel, a victim of domestic violence, was recently connected with safe, stable housing while she recovers from a chronic illness.
