Referenced in section IIIA of Shelter operations manual. Please refer to the manual for complete verbiage.
As hosts, we are responsible for providing a safe, warm and friendly shelter for our clients. Our values dictate that we treat all of our clients with fairness, dignity and respect in all areas, including that of religious preference. This freedom is especially important before serving meals. An alternative can be a moment of silence or quiet reflection so that we can be respectful to those of all faiths.
