Life Skills Classes in the PADS Shelter

Thursday, July 16th, 2015

In the past month, Outreach & Engagement Specialists and Housing staff members have facilitated life skills classes for program participants. The first week, Natalie Daniels, the Assistant Director of Financial Fitness at DePaul University, led activities and a group discussion on managing money. Another session led by staff was focused on self-worth and self-awareness. The classes have been extremely successful in engaging clients, and we are interested in continuing to offer them through the end of the summer and beyond.

Below is a list of possible topics. We are also open to adding other topics if someone has a specialized skill they are willing to share with our clients. If you are interested in leading a class, or participating in another capacity, please contact Attiyya at Thank you!
