We are grateful to Chris Mickens and Marty Vernon, for chairing this event and we’d like to thank those that competed to defeat homelessness and attended our 6th Annual Trivia Night on July 13 at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn. We exceeded our income goals and set a new attendance record that evening! Duking it out with a “Rock, Paper, Scissors” contest to break the tie, coming in 1st Place was Team “Sharp Dressed Sharp Minds” to defeat 2nd place “Team Blah Blah”. Rounding up the winners was 3rd Place Team "Where The **** Are My Keys?".
On May 24, the annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner was held at the 19th Century Club in Oak Park to recognize and reward the 1000+ loyal volunteers that help Housing Forward bring programs and services to those in need in our community.
