Converting a former hotel into a transitional shelter
This campaign will help us transform an aging hotel into The Oak Inn, a permanent home for Interim Housing and RISE Center Medical Respite services, and help individuals and families transition to a permanent home. The comprehensive renovation will create:

- Dignity-based philosophy
- 62 updated rooms which include private bathrooms, kitchenettes and private storage
- 22 of the units will become ADA accessible, up from 4 units
- Two new client laundry areas

- A safe and secure client lobby and intake area
- A multi-purpose community room for social gatherings, classes and workshops with a kitchen for meal prep and dining and a salon
- An updated patio and outdoor space

- A medical examination room and clinical office

- A multi-purpose conference room in the former hotel lobby
