Hope for Homes Day 2026

On Thursday, July 16, Housing Forward will participate in Hope for Homes Day, a statewide day of giving led by La Casa Norte and recognized by Governor Pritzker, Mayor Brandon Johnson, and Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle. This fundraising day brings together nonprofits across Illinois to take meaningful action toward ending homelessness and promoting housing justice.

On Hope for Homes Day, we are celebrating the impact of our Wraparound Services team and raising funds to support their vital work. As we get closer to July 16, we will share more about our wraparound services including annual impact, staff spotlights and client success stories. 

At Housing Forward, the Wraparound Services team is dedicated to providing support beyond housing. The Wrap team collaborates with case managers to provide clients with specialized services and a continuity of care across program areas from a client's initial entry and until a permanent destination is found. This interdisciplinary team strengthens the agency's service integration model in the areas of health and behavioral health, employment and income supports, and other critical needs of clients.

Stable housing is just the start — people also need supportive services which help them stay stable and move forward.
